So yes, as I mentioned in the last entry, I am going on vacation again! So far this year I've been to Europe, up the California coast, and now to Cancun. Later on this year I will be going to San Diego for Journalcon, home for Christmas, probably Vegas for New Year's, and also to New York or Boston because like Jen Wade, I won free tickets!

(That was really cool. Thanks to a tip via inter-office e-mail, a bunch of people from work won tickets. After I won, and realized what a good chance there was to win, I sent Jen Wade and jen fu down and they won tickets, and then later on, Ian won a ticket too! We have to go before Halloween, because that's when the tickets expire.)

I also was planning to go down to L.A. next month, at least for a weekend. I need to drop off a bunch of crap that I don't feel like moving into the new place,. (Which, no, I don't know where that will be yet. But I am manifesting it in my heart, and it will be lovely.) I bring things to my mother, and my mother sells them for me at her garage sales, and everybody wins.

But back to the current vacation. I bought way too much shit for this trip, a lot that I needed (like a new bathing suit, and some bug spray) and a lot that I didn't need (four pairs of shoes and three bags, and like eight tank tops--no, I am not packing all of that).

When you're packing for your very first trip to the Caribbean, which you are undertaking with your friends and your guy, it's kind of hard to be depressed about your life, I am realizing. Maybe that's why most people who wrote in told me to get over myself! Ha!

Okay and speaking of vacations, I do still need to post an entry about Belgium and Holland. It's half written, I swear! I also need to update my Escapades page. Because I actually did some of the stuff on the list. Such as go to Mini Europe! And see the redwoods. (And I will hopefully do another one this weekend, if the Caribbean beach I am going to has umbrella drinks.)

Now it's time for me to go and get all my work ducks in a row before I go on my trip. I will try to make this journal a lot more interesting when I come back.
